(STORY FINISHED) best times of my life

(so far)


I'm back.



There's so much i want to say I don't know where to start. Well let me just say this: ya know how i said 4th grade was the best year? that our grade had bonds of 4th grade that were lost and forgotten?
well they aren't lost or forgotten. I am so close with my grade. From the most hated freak girl to my best friends. I found out from Bobby that Drew likes me once again. but let me tell u my trip:

bus ride there: could have been better. I sat in the back with my friends, but it wasn't "fun"
we get there and immediately see a deer about 10 yards away. we gather around a campfire and get talked to by this old guy. then we find out bunks and unpack. each girl got her own bunk bed. (the girl's got a separate cabin from the boys but there was a room in the middle where everyone could socialize) so my bunk bed is far far away from the door.(perfect for talking at night! mwahaha!) I'm next to my 2 best friends. so we split into 3 groups (Rice is in my group) and each group does different activities. we first went down to this stream and some lady lectured us about water and sea life. we went in the water (with waterproof boots on of course) and we started looking for sea things. there are waterfalls and the sun is shining. it is so beautiful, with the golden, red, and orange leaves, with the water. (the water is freezing if u try and catch something with your hand in it) we found about 9 crawfish, 2 salamanders, and 1 frog. we then went out of the water on to this steep mossy hill above the water and talked about water and things like that. we classified the animals that we caught and before we knew it, it was over. then we had lunch.
lunch: not so good... (ewwwwwwwwww campish school food!!)
then we went outside and had free time like you could go on a walk across the bridge over this really wide lake. or you could stay outside of the cabins and play capture the flag or kickball.

so i played capture the flag. bobby was not playing though because of his concussion but i didn't really know where he was. so then we did our second activity.
hike: this was my favorite. we drove in a van so far away from the site. we turned the radio up and we sang along. my english teacher (who is my favorite teacher) we got out of the car and the sky was not sunny. it was not rainy. it wasn't gray, lol, it was this beautiful white that I have never seen. the white sky, the red and peach leaves still on the trees, it was the prettiest thing I've seen in a while. I wish i had pictures. i really do. oh well. so we walk along a stream. there are waterfalls, trees with the prettiest colored leaves, and the sounds of a forest. it wasn't cold or warm. it was just fine. but a cool temperature. so we are walking under and over fallen trees, climbing up and down slippery rocks that have wet moss growing all over them (that makes it more slippery) the guide stopped occasionally to point out certain trees, and fungi and it was all really cool. it was hard to keep your balance at some times but the view was totally worth it. we were in this revien thing. yeah I spelled that wrong, i know. so we walk along for about an hour up and down rocks, around fallen trees, ect. but we came to this part where the leaves on the trees were gone. the reese did not have branches, and it was kind of creepy. the sky seemed to get brighter as we left the leaves, even though it was the same white. we were at the end of our 2 hour hike, and i was disappointed because i didn't want it to end. But however there was still more to see at this last part. as we entered this new area where the stream took a turn away from where we walked, there came these red bushes and a little far behind was yellow bushes. It was the most beautiful thing i had seen yet. with the white sky in the background, aw, it was just gorgeous. we came to this cemetery where we looked at the graves and the dates of them while the teachers went back to get the van. we were there with the guide, but then my teacher came back and said that she had locked the keys in the one of the vans (it took 2 in total to fit our group) so we walked back to the van and we sang our way to the camp site.

SO next we played games again which were games i have never heard up, but they were really fun. one was sort of a shark and minos game but with a HUGE blow up ball. so after that we went back to our cabins to change for dinner.
dinner: horrible spaghetti, but REALLY REALLY good Italian bread. so after dinner we played things in the cafeteria for a while. like pictionary. then we all got seated while this man showed up with a bunch of boxes. he took out a bunny with a little beard like thing. lol a bunny with a beard. so we all said "aw!!" as he let us pet it. the guy was really funny and we all had a really cool time. he brought out a chinchilla!!! he brought out a turtle then made a girl in my class hold a paper towel and shake it as hard as she could. then he told her to put it in the floor. she did. then he lifted the paper towel. under neath was a baby turtle the size that was sort of bigger than a the clock part of a watch and smaller than a baseball. it was adorable!! then he did the same with a mouse. he made be shake the paper towel as he held a big white mouse in his hands and when he lifted the paper towel from the ground, the cutest little newborn baby was underneath. it was pink and blind, and smaller than me thumb!!!!!
Everyone was like "C, you're magic!!" hahaha. there was also a ferret. so he brought out a snake as long as my leg. than he asked "Do you guys want to hold a big snake!!?? " as he held it, and we were all like "YYYYEEEESSS!!!!!!" so then he was like "oh..." but he put it back. and we were all confused and saddened. but he said "what? I asked if you wanted to feel a BIG snake." and we all started screaming and hooting as he brought out a HUGE ALBINO ANACONDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its mouth was taped of course. it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo long. it it could stand, it would be wwaaayy taller than the ceiling. it was yellow, and I FELT IT!!! hahaha. i was scared i admit. he also brought out these beatles the size of my hand.
scorpions, a poison dart frog, a poisonous spider, and a rattle snake came out, but they were all in individual glass boxes. And the rattle snake had the poison removed from its tail anyway. so after he brought out a HUGE TARANTULA he brought out a crocodile!! its mouth was taped close though. I was squealing the whole time. he said he was about to bring out the scariest thing of all. he held it in his hands and the all the girls started practically crying. i was screaming so sososososo much. he was about to put it on the table and i was about to have tears in my eyes, i was so sososo scared. It was a... strawberry. yes. immediately, everyone burst into laughter. IT WAS A STRAWBERRY!! omg i freaked out over a strawberry!!! hahaha.

so after the AMAZING show, we went to put on our PJs to watch a movie. we all got cozy in the commons room and i sat next to my best friend, drew, bobby, and my other best friend was behind me. we lied down and started watching it. We watched Stormbreaker, and the guy who played Alex was sooooo hot. i was waiting for a shirtless scene, but it never happened. and i said it on perpose like a million times in front of Bobby and Drew! haha. my friend started also. at first Bobby was red and Drew was all "Yeah he is SO cute" jokingly, and we were all like "umm... ok" so before it started we all talked as we were laying there and we were eating popcorn. and bobby said something like "drew wants me to leave you two alone." to me. and then he was all "not gonna happen drew" but i was like "omg please don't!" so then drew moves even closer to me and says "this way I can argue with you more" and Bobby goes "Yeah, by argue, Drew means flirt." and then my friend said "what?" and then Bobby was like "Drew likes C." but then we all laughed. the movie played and we were all laughing and enjoying the whole thing.

I was sad when it was over. so then it was like 11 and we had to go to bed. we went into our bunk rooms and talked. then the teachers came in and were like "Ok! You have to go to bed!!!" so we were 'silent' but oh so loud. lol. our plan was almost ready.
Operation Manorexic was go. (anorexic with a man in front)
we planned to prank this mean boyish girl. it was about 1 when I woke my friends up but they were all like "No. I'm gonna go to sleep." But then I woke up to my best friend in my bunk saying "We're doing the operation!" it was about 4 in the morning. we stole her hat that she loves. it was hilarious. everyone was up except for the freak girl and the boyish girl. i took my water bottle which was warm and put her hand in it, in hopes that she would wet the bed. lol. she didn't. she was mad over the hat and everyone laughed. it was an extremely fun night.

we woke up and got dressed, then headed off to breakfast. it was cereal and waffles. it wasn't good, but it was the best meal so far. after breakfast we went outside and played more. But I was too tired to function so one of my friends and i went on this walk with my Science teacher. Guess who was there?? bobby. we walked over this beautiful lake and over this little bridge. it was fun. rice was there also. I was so glad i didn't play kickball or one of the games. the science teacher was pretty far ahead so we talked about "Operation Manorexic" we all had a good laugh. and i was EXTREMELY upset when the little walk was over.

then we went on our third and final activity. it was the worst one so far, but fun at the same time because our group just talked. it had something to do with compasses and navigation skills but whatever. then after it, we went back and had lunch. then we went back on the school bus.
school bus trip back: THE FUNNIEST THING EVER! i sat near the girl who we played the prank on, this funny boy, bobby, this boy that the girl who we played the prank on likes, and i sat next to my best friends. BUT I GOT THE AISLE SEAT!!!! YAY!!
it was hilarious. i think i was delirious from the lack of sleep and the boy who the boyish girl likes was like "C! You're always so quiet! Now you're crazy!" lets just say it got a little inappropriate. lol. the boys were trying to make a hand ' girl's you know what' so i discovered how to make a hand 'boy's you know what'!!! it was awesome. and oh so funny. i was laughing so hard. we all teased the boyish girl, we sang, and we sang some more.

WOW THIS IS A LONG POST! So i had no expectations and it got off to an "eh" start and ended up "SPECTACULARLY FUNNY AND ONE OF THE BEST BONDING EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER DONE!"
