I feel sooo bad!!! I haven't said anything yet to him!!!! All of your comments motivated me to turn more to the yes side. But at school i was like, "um. im really sorry. i still haven't made up my mind" and he was surprisingly cool with it. but id rather think things through than make someone feel bad right away or say yes to something i dont want to be a part of.

and i wont even see him until school comes back because its winter break!!!! :(
last night was our christmas concert. when i walked in he (and a few other boys) literally said, "Woah, C!!!" and i was so embarrassed because the people who said things about me said things at different parts of the night and they were complements but i felt like a skank but i only had on a little bit of eyeliner!!
he gave me a hug goodbye and i wont see him until 2010!!
7th grade "relationships" usually suck and dont mean anything. but is he different???!! :/
I forgot to mention, I GOT CONTACTS!!!! wooo!!! yesterday i was only aloud to keep them in for 4 hours so my eyes get used to them but i accidentally kept them in for 6 because i went to a party after the concert! oh well. they are really hard to put in and take out because my eyes always tear and flinch and its annoying. anyway bye

I had the same problem with this guy that asked me to the Halloween Dance this year.
And it was weird cause I really don't like him the way he likes me.
I mean we're just friends...
Anyway hang in there, go with whatever feels right.
I'm sure it'll all work out fine. :)
Maybe you should tell him about all this. You know. How you don't want to have a "relationship" if it won't mean anything. I'm sure he'll understand that, and he'll either step up for the challenge or back down until you think you're both old enough to have a serious relationship.
Or he could just give up on you and go find some other attractive girl.
BUT THAT THIRD ONE ISN'T LIKELY. Because he seems to be really into you.
And trust me. He probably wasn't cool with it on the inside. If he was a decent guy, and he really liked you, he was probably heartbroken. He just couldn't show it.
OH. If he has a MySpace or a Facebook or something online, you could find that and talk to him there. That way you won't have to wait until Christmas break is over.

Just approach to him about all this stuff. If he's willing to talk and work things out, then you know he's got it bad for you. If he's just like, "Pfft. Whatever. I'ma go talk to Britneh nao, biyatch." Then he's a jerk.
But I really can't see him saying the second one. Though that would be funny. XD

But don't worry about not being able to have a serious relationship just because you're in 7th grade. I thought just like you did. Even in 8th grade, it seemed totally stupid to me. But then I met Rhianne, and it all made a lot of sense. And hey, look at us, we lasted 6 months. And we're still really, really good friends.
It just seems stupid because a lot of people only "date" someone for a week and then they're with someone else. Just don't be like that, and you'll be good.
